I’m BACK!

Perhaps its a sign of the times, this black and whiteness. Color has faded from within during these many months of upheaval, and in response, a daily struggle. Are you worried too? Does anger and hopelessness permeate your pores? Do you fear for humanity? I get it. And I have been scouring for information on how to better use YOGA to help with Anxiety. How can we attend to our frazzled nerves?

I have a simple remedy for you.

Right here, right now.

Stand against a wall with your knees bent, your feet sixteen inches away from the baseboard. Feel the firmness behind your head, shoulders, ribs and hips. Brave the burn in your thighs. Breathe IN, Breathe OUT.

Slowly, Evenly.

And then? Simply shift your weight into one foot and then the other foot. Hardly allow for air under your soles. Like a big and beautiful elephant. Strong, Solid, Secure. Keep your eyes open. Rock steady in place for five minutes.

I promise. You will feel calmer. You will be.
